Have you been searching for a new project? Maybe you have a gift you need to make and get shipped out soon? Check out these 5 knit hat and scarf sets that I found. Each designer has several hat and scarf knitting patterns in their Ravelry database and on their blogs, but these 5 really stood out to me as some of the best!
All of these patterns are very well designed and each has something unique that will make your work stand out from the crowd! Please be sure to check out these designers and all their other patterns too!
We have included some links to yarn or other items that are affiliate links – that just means if you make a purchase after clicking the link, we get a commission. There is no extra charge to you.
1. Dragonscale Beanie and Scarf by Babs Rudlin
You can purchase these patterns separately or as one group! There is even a cowl pattern that you can find on her Ravelry page too.
Things we love –
The stitch itself is just beautiful and Babs offers tutorials at her site : Fiery Phoenix.
I also love the yarn that she chose for this pattern – the colors just fit. You can find that yarn at LoveKnitting – Debbie Bliss Rialto Luxury Sock.
2. Barents Hat and Cowl Set by Sarah Devantier
This is a great set for those cold winter days! You can purchase the patterns individually or as a set! She offers some discounts on her Ravelry page and blog, so be sure to check it out. If you put both patterns in the cart, you can get 10% off.
Things we love – This cowl is made to be worn folded over, but you can pull it up to block the wind or warm your nose for a minute! Did you see the photo of the hat from above? Love, love, love that design!
3. Cozy Hat and Scarf Set by Wiam’s Crafts
This set is truly unique and the alternating colors and sections on the scarf really add so much interest. Plus, the hat has a pom pom on top, which looks so good with that multicolored yarn.
Things we love – This one is a free pattern that has a diagram and all the information on her website. I also love the length of that scarf! Cozy is the right word to describe it!
4. Blue Beat Scarf and Beanie Set by Good To Go Knits
The Blue Beat Scarf and beanie set is another great set to try out. This one uses eyelets, slipped stitches, and bobbles to make a really nice scarf that looks detailed and crisp.
Things we love – We love the use of Caron Cakes to make these! We are always looking for ways to use those cuties!
5. Embossed Hearts Scarf, Cowl & Hat by Heather G. Lodinsky
This set comes with three different patterns: a scarf, a hat, and a cowl! She also includes sizing for children or adults, which means you can make matching sets for a parent and child or grandparent and child!
Things we love – The hearts!! So cute and such a great idea for a gift! The colors of Heartland Yarn from Lion Brand!
