Learn to Crochet – Mini Basket – Day 5

Now that you have some projects under your belt, let’s try making this crochet mini basket.

This pattern will teach you how to crochet in the round, which opens up a lot of other projects for you like hats and cowls.

This little basket can be adjusted to make any size basket too!

You don’t just have to make a mini one, but we do love the cute look of this on a dresser to hold jewelry or little trinkets!

Materials Needed:

  • 1 skein of a lighter solid color yarn
    We recommend Caron Simply Soft Solids, Red Heart Soft Yarn, or Bernat Satin. These brands can be found at Wal-Mart, JoAnn Fabrics, Michaels, A.C. Moore, and any other craft or hobby store that sells yarn. 
  • size J or K crochet hook
  • measuring tape
  • scissors
  • tapestry needle
