If you are looking for a quick and easy crochet shawl pattern, you have come to the right place.
The Dogwood Shawl is an easy rectangular wrap that works up quickly with a bulky weight yarn like Red Heart Hygge.
I loved making this pattern because it works so fast, but it also has a unique design. You can follow the chart below to achieve this textured look and style.
I wanted something that had a lot of texture at the bottom and less at the top near the face.
This shawl or wrap would look stunning on its own, or if you wanted to include a beautiful shawl pin or brooch, that would look great too.
So, let’s get started crocheting this wrap right now!

Finished measurements/sizing:
Blocked – 18 inches tall x 78 inches wide
Blocked – 45.72 cm tall x 198.12 cm wide
Notes:
- You are always working the tc on the wrong side of the fabric so that it will push out on the right side. This is called the cobble stitch.
- Block the yarn to get the most stretch. When blocking, pull out the tc on the right side so they pop out more in the finished pattern to show the design.
- Need some help with the cobble stitch – check out our video on how to crochet this stitch in a misaligned pattern.
