Making your own crochet trick or treat bag can be easy and fun!
This pattern works up really quickly with your favorite bulky yarns.
I designed this pattern for my own kids to use this Halloween.
It is made of two simple squares with stripes and then I created a wide strap that goes all around the bag like a circle. So, the strap serves as sides and bottom as well as the handle!
I can’t wait to see the color combinations everyone comes up with!

Seaming Together
We are using the black strap/handle as the sides and bottom of the bag along with being used as the handle.
Starting with the front panel, line up one side edge of the wrong side of panel to the wrong side of the side edge of the start of the handle. Seam side, bottom, and other side using a slip stitch.
Repeat on the other side of the panel and the strap/handle.
Seam the end of the strap to the beginning of the strap.
Finish and weave in ends.
Turn right side out.
