My daughter has really enjoyed learning how to crochet over the last year. As a 10 year old, she likes projects that are quick and easy to finish since kids have a shorter attention span. She loves to create, so she wanted to come up with her own easy kids crochet scarf pattern. After running a few ideas by me and changing her mind a few times, the Squishy Rainbow Scarf was born. Enjoy this free kids crochet scarf pattern that is sized right for kids and is easy enough for kids with a basic knowledge of crochet to work up!
Materials
- I Love This Chunky in Sunset (109 yards) – 2 skeins (uses about 1 1/4 skeins – you could make some cute tassels or fringe for the ends with the extra yarn – my daughter wouldn’t go for it on this one!)
- Size L Hook – 8.00 mm
Stitches
ch – chain
tc – treble crochet
sc – single crochet
dc – double crochet
