Crochet Christmas Present Table Decor

These crochet Christmas Present Table Top decorations are a great way to decorate your table for the holidays!

Crochet Tabletop Presents

Each design can be completely customized to match your holiday decor! You can choose the ribbons and yarn colors and wow, is this a great way to use up leftover yarn.

The three little presents are worked flat and then the ribbons are added as a little extra piece to give it a more 3D effect.

You could mix and match these or just create one for a side table…so many options!

Materials

  • Yarn – Red Heart With Love in colors of choice
  • Hook – K hook

Techniques and Abbreviations

  • st(s) – stitch(es)
  • ch – chain
  • sc – single crochet
  • dc – double crochet

Tall Stripes Present Written Pattern

Color 1

Chain 31.

Row 1: 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook, 1 sc in each ch to end of row, turn. (30 sts)

Row 2: Ch 1, 1 sc in first st and each st across, turn. (30 sts)

Row 3: Ch 1, 1 sc in first four sts, ch 7, skip 6 sts, 1 sc in next st and each st across, turn.

Row 4: Ch 1, 1 sc in each of first 20 sts, 6 sc in ch 7 space, 1 sc in each of next 4 sts, turn.

Row 5 – 6: Repeat Row 2.

Color 2 

Row 7 – 12: Repeat Row 2.

Color 1

Row 13 – 18: Repeat Row 2. 
Finish and weave in ends.

Checkerboard Square Present Written Pattern

Note – hold yarn not being worked and then pull tight before starting back into that color.

Color 1

Chain 26

Row 1: Using color 1, into 3rd ch from hook, work 1 sc, 1 sc in each of next 2 ch, insert hook into next ch, yo and draw through, then yo with Color 2 and draw through two loops, using Color 2, work 1 sc in each of next 5 chs, using Color 1, work 1 sc into each of the next 5 chs, until the end, turn.

Row 2: Using the same color as the last 5 sts, ch 1 and work 1 sc in first st and next 4 sts, change color and continue working sc of that color into next 5 sts; repeat to end of row, turn.

Row 3-5: Repeat Row 2.

Row 6-10: Work as Row 2, except switch colors to work Color 2 over Color 1 and Color 1 over color two to create the squares.

End with a row that is a multiple of 5.

Flat Ribbed Present Written Pattern

Color 1

Chain 53

Row 1: 1dc in 4th ch from hook and each st across.

Row 2: Ch 3, 1 dc in the back post of the dc in the row below in each st across, turn.

Row 3: Ch 3, 1 dc in the front post of dc in the row below in each st across, turn. Here is where you can begin adding in other colors. You can mix and match as you like and just carry the other colors of yarn on the back side of the work and carry it to the next stitch.

Complete as many rows as you would like the height of your present to be, alternating Row 2 and Row 3 and using the same colors as you are working into.

The last row will be a repeat of Row 2.
