The Cherry Blossom Slouchy Hat pattern is a quick pattern that is crocheted flat and seamed. It works quickly with just one skein of Hygge bulky yarn and a simple stitch pattern.
The first section is textured to frame the face and the rest of the hat is a simple double crochet stitch to lay flat.
Add a cute faux fur pom pom and you are ready to look cute and stay warm too!

Using same yarn, place wrong sides together and use a sl st to seam along the side from Row 17 to Row 1.
At the end of the seam, turn right side out and working on the right side in ch 1 of your foundation row, work 1 sc in first ch and each ch around, slip stitch to join.
Finish and weave in ends.
Top of hat:
Turn hat inside out again and working on the wrong side of the hat:
Cut a piece of yarn slightly larger than the circumference of the hat. Work it into every other stitch in Row 17 around to the end. Take both ends of the yarn and draw them tight to cinch the top. Knot tightly and turn hat right side out.
Add a pom pom of your choice to finish the look or leave as is.
